January 2024 Linneus Sno-Sports Club News

Hello snowmobilers! As you may have noticed, it has been a very demanding and discouraging snowmobile season thus far. Lack of snow, equipment repairs, reroutes, landowner issues and of course, the fall wind and rain storm that left us with lots of downed trees and trail clean-up just like many other snowmobile clubs in our beautiful state.

How do we know we have a successful snowmobile club? Mostly because of you and the support you provide our club. Not only do the club memberships keep showing up in the mail on a daily basis, we are fortunate that many of our members have volunteered trail hours to try to help us get caught up and we thank you for that. With a small crew of volunteers this year, we have appreciated all of the help we can get. Thank you!

Linneus Sno-Sports is one of the top 5 largest snowmobiles clubs in the state of Maine, with over 150 miles of trails to maintain. Please be patient with us as we try to get caught up and pray for snow!

While out snowmobiling, don't forget to stop into the clubhouse for our Winter Weekend Lunches. Inez, Sandra and kitchen crew have been super busy and we will continue to be open every Saturday & Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We would love to see you!

Greg Smith heads up our weekly Bingo on Wednesday nights and the kitchen is also open starting at 5 p.m.  Early Bird Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. and regular games at 7p.m.

Our Annual Poker Run is scheduled for Sunday February 25th. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the last hand is due to the club by 3 p.m. Check out our Poker Run page: HERE

Remember: ride safe, stay to the right of the trail and have fun!
